2013 Update of Cost Vs Value

Cost Vs Value update for 2013 reports stabilizing house values and lower construction costs resulting in a rise of the national average cost-value ratio, ending a six-year decline. The Remodeling Cost vs. Value Report 2013 also shows a cost-value rise for each project and replacement projects gained more ground than remodeling projects. The top high-value projects are all replacements: Steel entry door (85.6%), fiber-cement siding (79.3%), and garage door-midrange (75.7%).
